On Tuesday, the day following the Boston Marathon bombing, Boston officials detained Saudi national Abdulrahman Ali Alharbi a 20 year-old exchange student. He is believed to have entered the country on a student visa. Late yesterday Abdulrahman was cleared by federal officials in the Boston bombing.
From Atlas:
Steve Emerson just broke the shocking news that the Saudi National, Abdul al-Harbi, first questioned in the Boston bombing is going to be deported on "national security grounds." He is from very powerful Saudi family ith many terrorist ties. Abdul al-Harbi is a devout Muslim from Medina.
I said it takes longer than 15 hours to investigate all of Abdul al-Harbi's relatives, friends, acquaintances, and business and school friends.
Perhaps a quick look at the Arabic sources should raise the eyebrows of every American relative to the extent of the problem at hand. Many from Al-Harbi’s clan are steeped in terrorism and are members of Al-Qaeda. Out of a list of 85 terrorists listed by the Saudi government shows several of Al-Harbi clan to have been active fighters in Al-Qaeda:
When I heard he was from a very powerful Saudi family I worried about this kind of thing happening.
Secreatry of State Kerry meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister was abruptly closed the day Abdul al-Harbi was being questioned. A meeting Secretary of State John Kerry held with Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Saud Al-Faisal was abruptly closed to press coverage. There is no doubt in my mind that this was discussed.
FELLOW IBA BLOGGER, NICO, PREDICTED THIS YESTERDAY:
I wouldn't be surprised if one of the royal family members supported his trip and education in the US. If that's the case and if he is the perpetrator then it would make sense if he is let go without any charges and probably deported without the public finding out.
Tonight Steven Emerson told Sean Hannity that the non-suspect Abdulrahman Ali Alharbi is being deported back to the Saudi Kingdom.
