Islamists Threaten Suicide Bombings in Florida to Avenge “Burn a Koran Day”

Personally, I am not high on "Burn a Koran" Day. But, this threat has me starting to believe, perhaps, everyone in America ought to participate.

The reality is, burning books is NOT against any Human Right, nor is it against the Bill of Rights. In fact, it is an expression of the Freedom of Speech articulated in our First Amendment.

I am for people having the right to burn the American flag. I don't approve of it, but I am for their right to do it.

Likewise, I am for the right to burn the Koran, the Bible, or whatever book anyone gets it up their ass to burn.

The fact of the matter is, Islam does not believe in Freedom of Conscience. Islam stipulates that any Muslim who chooses to leave his religion is to be killed, according to their law, Sharia.

We need to oppose Sharia, and thereby oppose Islam and the Koran, as strongly as possible. Sometimes this may include participating in provocative acts aimed at forcing Jihadist, Sharia-supporting Muslims into the open.

This is why I say, I am starting to believe, perhaps, we all ought to participate in Burn a Koran Day.

I'm interested in hearing the opinions of others.

If you didn’t already know, Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville, Florida will call for Sept. 11 to be an “International Burn a Koran Day.”
Provocative? Yes.
Inflammatory? Absolutely.
Bridge-building? No
Act of good faith? Uh…no.
Necessary to put “Islamic tolerance” to the true test? Abso-freakin-lutely.
I actually think it’s sad that we have to do things like this just to prove a point, but the un-informed indifferent populace needs to understand the extremist nature that dominates the majority of Islam in the modern era.  Muslims can’t pass a test like this. They simply can’t. Why? Because the “radicals” are about 80-90% of the majority and Muslims like Zhuddi Jasser are simply a dime a dozen.
The Muslim community has a great opportunity here…sure they’ll be rightly offended by this provocative act, but it should be used to show their tolerance for freedom of speech.  Show the world that you actually ARE a religion of peace…Good luck with that!
Predictable news from the local news WOKV
One jihadist website vowed to conduct suicide bombings in Florida to avenge the Koran burning, while others predicted an increase in terrorist recruits as a result of such actions.
“By Allah, the wars are heated and you Americans are the ones who…enflamed it,” says one such posting. “By Allah you will be the first to taste its flames.”
Jones said the radical threats confirmed his views of Muslims.  “I can understand that they would be offended. I think their reactions–violence, threats, murders terrorist attacks–that only reveals the true nature of Islam which needs to be revealed,” he said.
