You think it's easy, don't you? Just think up a tune, pop over to Youtube or Google or Dailymotion or Metacafe, find it and post it. Simple, huh?
Nooo. . .
First, if you're a person of limited imagination, such as myself, it's not always so easy to think up a fresh tune. Or at least one you haven't spun in the last 6 or 8 months (can't have too many repeats). Then confound and confuse yourslef by insisting that you must post Blues on Wednesday, Classical on Sunday, something really old on Saturday nights. And try to find videos to match it. And oh yes, whenever possible try to keep a theme running through the week. Harp. Sax. Fusion Guitar. Violin. or metal or Traveling Wilburys before they were the Wilburys. Whatever.
But worse and woe to you when you know EXACTLY what you're looking for and you head over there determined to limit your time online because, you know, the wife has forgotten what you look like and DAMN if that Youtube isn't making tasty suggestions all over the place.
And before you know it an hour has passed. Or two. And you've forgotten completely what you were seeking. And have posted a half dozen videos. Or set them to post at a future time. Which, of course, will get changed and moved around as you find more tasty stuff you just have to share.
And such is the case with this and the video directly below it. I set out looking for something from Herbie Hancock's Imagine Project and this is the rabbit hole I stumbled down.
Why do we do it?
For the Love. For the Glory. For the Money. To give you something to soothe the savage after reading all the nasty garbage and ugly shit going on these days. To piss off the Crazy Fucking Jihadis.
But mostly for the money.

Bill Whittle: Another Modern Day Warrior
I have been listening to Bill Whittle for a while now. I haven't shared anything on the blog yet because I've been trying to figure out how to post his videos directly here. Now I am thinking: "Our readers aren't dumb so maybe I can post the...
