Barack Obama loses beer bet with Canadian Prime MinisterBy Kirkland Crawford
Free Press Sports Writer
Something is brewing in U.S.-Canada relations. And it's on Olympic ice.
President Barack Obama bet a case of beer with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper on the outcome of Sunday's U.S.-Canada game.
White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said Obama will send a case of Yuengling, a Pennsylvania regional brew, to Harper, who wagered 24 bottles of Molson.
There was no word on where the cross-border exchange would occur.
(that beer summit last year must have affected him more than we thought.
