The hatred of Jews is a fire which has spread across the land of Islam, just as it spread across Germany in the 30's and 40's. It is true that anti-Semitism is part and parcel of Islam, but the level of Jew-hatred that is being spread currently is at a whole other level.
In fact, to find the precedent for such Jew-hatred you'd have to go all the way back to Mohammed and the Medinan verses of the Krayon.
The Medinan verses preach hatred of the Infidel and the Jew, and call for them/us to be slayed as "Unbelievers". The Medinan verses abrogate the Meccan verses, meaning they supersede them, and take precedence.
In this sense, Islam is just returning to it's roots. And, it's roots feed on hatred of the Jews.
