Because AGL is an accredited Green Power supplier, its purchasers can be assured that their scheme involves only renewable energy sources that meet strict environmental standards and were built from not earlier than 1997, which is the year the project was introduced. All of the companies in the renewable energy sector are independently audited to ensure that all Green Power purchases go to certified green energy investments and their new infrastructures.
AGL has many other programs that support the environment, such as its Biomass Policy and Warmth in Winter, among others.
