]While hundreds of thousands - including Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson - gather in Washington on Saturday to protest President Bush's plan to send more troops to Iraq, thousands more will gather across the nation to do the same, including in Utah's capital.]We the People for Peace and Justice, the group that orchestrated the anti-war rally last August when President Bush was in Utah, is organizing a "stop funding the war, bring the troops home now" event at the Main Library's auditorium at 2 p.m.]Scheduled speakers include writer Terry Tempest Williams; Kim Spangrude of Military Families Speak Out; Rick Miller of Veterans for Peace; Iraqi war veterans Larry Cannon and Marshall Thompson; Theresa Martinez, a University of Utah professor; Dee Rowland, a government liaison for the Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City; Kyle Wulle, an officer of the Steelworkers Union; and Anwar Arafat, president of the U.'s Muslim Student Association.
