GEI offers LED lighting to the commercial, residential and consumer markets. GEI representatives are currently researching and working with LED bulb manufacturers and LED suppliers to bring the best product value for our customers and clients.
LED FACTS LED lighting uses nearly 70 to 80% less energy than that of an incandescent light bulb. This translates immediately into financial savings for the consumer and helps to foster a cleaner environment because of the less over all power needed to operate LED lighting.
An 18-watt LED replacement light can replace a 75-watt incandescent bulb and will save approximately 570 kw's of energy in the life expectancy of the incandescent bulb vs. the LED light. The LED light last 10 times longer than that of the incandescent bulb. White LED lamps can operate up to 100,000 hours. This is 11 years of continuous operation.
Once an LED Light is purchased, you may never need to replace the LED Light because most lighting is only used during the night time hours or 50% of the time.
Good Places to Install LEDs
LED Lights are excellent for ceiling fans.
Due to the construction of the LED light bulb, LEDs can take fan vibration much better than that of the incandescent bulbs.
Or, LEDs can be installed in remote places where the ceilings are high and hard to reach. Once the LED bulb is installed, the consumer can be sure that the light will be there for years to come.
GEI LED Webstore Green Energy Initiatives will be opening a 'webstore' in the near future featuring LED products that will be consumer friendly and value priced.
