Sky News' report has some assumption inlaid which I think are ignorant, but still this is interesting, and it is worth noting what the mainstream media is saying.

Nationalism is a good thing.
Ethnic Nationalism is a bad thing.
One of the little ploys Liberals, who advocate the Internationalist agenda, use to get you to agree with them is to demonize Nationalism. Think about it, do you have anything against France, England, America, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, etc., determining what laws they will have, how they will administrate their borders, how they will work their trade agreements, etc.?
Do you object to those ideas?
No?
Well, then you are a Nationalist.
Now, if you think that England is for native English people only, so that ONLY white people may live in England, or if it is your agenda that the White Race must dominate in England, America, New Zealand, or another country, or if you think that Japan must always be Japanese, then you are an Ethnic Nationalist.
Japan is, by the way, an Ethnic Nationalist nation, as is China, Korea, Viet Nam, Taiwan, etc. They have policies which limit immigration so that their racial makeup will always dominate.
Ethnic Nationalism is an inferior ideology. It is, ultimately, sick and twisted thinking. It is a thought process which says race is more important than ideas, than individual choice, than people determining who they will be and whether to do good or evil.
Yes, my friends, Ethnic Nationalism is a whole other subject.
Nationalism is merely a nation who keeps control of their own laws.
But, I digress. The point here is Mr. Breivik wrote a 1500 page manifesto, and this is how it is perceived, and I think, largely it is being perceived rather accurately. Fjordman is an Ethnic Nationalist.

The thing is, Marxism is an Internationalist ideology. And, if implemented, it would lead to a reduction in Nationalism, which means, for example, America getting to determine her own borders, laws, etc.The 1,500-page manifesto written by Anders Behring Breivik is a blueprint for a continent-wide revolution which reflects much of the thinking of Europe's neo-Nazis.
The document - 2083 A European Declaration Of Independence - lays out a three-stage plan leading to the overthrow of Europe's liberal democracies and replacing them with a pan-European conservative authority.
In some ways, the writings are a mirror image of those of Osama bin Laden, laying out views of why society is in crisis and how only "propaganda by deed" will inspire the masses to action.
Whereas bin Laden wanted Islam to triumph, Breivik supports a Christian Europe without large numbers of Muslims.

Many educated neo-Nazis start from the premise that Marxism thought infected Europe, leading to a reduction in nationalism and the introduction, eventually, of liberalism and multiculturalism.
Breivik articulates all this. At a local level, he blames the ruling Labour party for introducing multiculturalism to Norway and, he believes, ruining the country. His writing is deeply anti-Islamic.
The neo-Nazi movement in Scandanavia is among the strongest in Europe.
The different groups are almost all in contact with each other, from Italy to Norway and from Britain to Russia.
