Consequences of defeat in this War
I will be linking to a great article in today's Washington Times detailing a study by the CIA in which the results of "cut and run" are studied. The outcome is not pretty. Allowing an Iranian nuclear weapons program to come online would essentially mean for all practical purposes that we have lost the Middle East. Sunni Arab countries would be faced for the first time with Shia superiority, and would have to change their behavior accordingly. We would lose in Iraq, as Muqtada Sadr would become the prime component of power. Hizbullah would be able to continue their jihad against Israel with impunity. It would be likely that within a few years Israel would be annihilated- only 1 or 2 nuclear weapons would destroy the Jewish State completely. Americans in their SUVs and playing with their Wiis have yet to even contemplate a future as dark as what could be coming. Time to wake them up...
