FDA: You Have No Right To Food
We have a fairly decent size garden in our yard. We get potatoes, onions, watermelons, corn, tomatoes among other things from it every summer. It keeps getting bigger (less for me to mow!).
My wife grew up on a dairy farm. She has drunk more raw milk in a week than most people will in a lifetime. My daughters have drunk it as well. Still do when she can get it. They're all just fine.
There are several food coops in and around this area. One family grows a certain crop and trades with another who grow something different.
And scores of local farms with their roadside stands. Every year we get corn or beans or pumpkins or whatever from them. JauJau no doubt does as well. And so do you.
And according to the FDA
WE HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE DOING ANY OF THE ABOVE.
Be sure to read the embedded link in this story for the backstory.
Examiner:
Jackboot to the throat--FDA claims citizens have no right of access to certain foods In yet another arrogant display of the federal government's jackboot to the throat of America and of its troubling disregard for the rights of citizens, the Food and Drug Administration now claims that Americans have no fundamental inherent right of access to certain foods.
The agency also claims that Americans do not have a fundamental right to grow their own food, to sell it as they see fit, or to engage in contractual agreements with other citizens in forming food coops.
This direct, frontal assault on the U.S. Constitution, the rights of ordinary citizens, and the long-established American way of life is the result of a case involving the sale and transporting of raw milk across state lines.
As yet another example of the inherent Fascism of this Administration, the mega grocery industry and the large diary corporations are cavorting with the federal government to get certain types of foods banned, to limit access to foods that would impact the large corporations at their bottom line, and to restrict the liberties of Americans by an out-of-control government that is drunk on its own power.
The complete summary and explanation of the circumstances that led to the FDA's assertions can be found
here.
Regardless of how the populace feels about raw milk, this issue has far-reaching implications. The FDA wishes to dictate to the citizens what they can and cannot eat. And this issue has absolutely nothing to do with the anti-junk food bandwagon. They want to restrict you from access to healthy items as well, so that the large dairy corporations and mega-food and grocery industries can form a monopoly--all with the blessing and enforcement of the federal government.
The fact that this mindset even exists within the halls of government is disturbing. After all of the battles liberty-minded Americans have been through in the last 18 months, we are now forced to defend our right to grow food in our backyards.
Do the jackbooted thugs of this Fascist regime know absolutely no limit to their unbridled power? The arrogance is astounding, as the following video explains.
The Obama Administration, yet again, proves that it has the jackboot on the throats of the citizens.
