Fuk No Ko: New York Premiere of The Interview Cancelled Due To Terrorist Threat
What a sad place we've come to as a world that I may have to go see a Seth Rogen movie, ON CHRISTMAS DAY, to make a stand for Freedom of Speech.
Back when George Bush named North Korea one of the Axis of Evil, I must admit, I thought it was hyperbole.
As evil as North Korea is, as a nation, to it's people, it has not caused worldwide problems on the level of Islam.
But now, North Korea has threatened terrorist acts on Christmas Day, against theaters which show The Interview.
I don't know about you, but I see that as a challenge.
Fuk No Ko. I'm going to walk into the local theater with a big fucking American Flag and big fucking Popcorn, and a god damned tanker of Coca Cola, and I'm going to laugh my fucking ass off, even if the movie isn't funny for a second.
It's the least we can do.
From the BBC:
The New York premiere of The Interview, a comedy about the assassination of North Korea's president, has been cancelled amid threats from hackers.
A spokesman for the cinema chain due to host the screening said it had been shelved. Hackers targeting Sony Pictures had threatened to attack US cinemas showing the studio's film.
They belong to the same group which has released emails and data stolen from Sony. Calling themselves Guardians of Peace, the hackers mentioned the 9/11 attacks in a recent warning, claiming "the world will be full of fear".
"Remember the 11th of September 2001. We recommend you to keep yourself distant from the places at that time," the hacker group wrote in a message on Tuesday. "If your house is nearby, you'd better leave," they add.
"Whatever comes in the coming days is called by the greed of Sony Pictures Entertainment."
Anyway, it would be advisable for the CIA to make this movie become a prophetic piece of cinema.
It is time to assassinate the entire leadership of the Potemkin nation of North Korea.
