Green Power Energy Wind to Replace Burning Fossil Fuels

Green power energy wind is one of the best and most efficient forms of renewable energy. Wind power has been around for a long time as it was used for windmills and sailing.
Most times wind was used to produce a movement such as moving a ship or grinding grain into flour. This energy is extremely efficient as it is renewable and readily available almost anywhere. Additionally using wind as power does not produce any greenhouse gases.
While there are many benefits to wind power this is one disadvantage. Mainly if the turbine or windmill is not connected to a battery supply or the electrical grid then any excess energy cannot be stored and used for later, it must be used as it is being produced. Without a storage system and additional energy generation system is needed for when more power is needed.
To get power form wind only a gentle breeze is needed. The amount produced from wind does not increase much after a certain point, so higher wind speeds are not necessary. Depending on the height of the wind turbine it can be possible to harness wind power form higher up in the atmosphere if there is not a lot of wind near the ground.
Wind is due to the uneven heating of the earth's surface. It is much hotter near the equator and cooler towards the poles. This creates hot and cool air which will rise and fall based on temperature. This air movement creates winds. While wind strength is rarely consistent it has been found that a wind turbine needs to be operating 20% of the time in order to produce enough energy for a home. Think of the amount of power that can be generated from a wind farm!
Many countries are using wind farms as a way to create and use energy. This is an energy form that does not rely on burning fossil fuels. Most of the cost is due to installation and maintenance of the wind turbine.
