Have you noticed that Trump & Bernie are attacking the EXACT same quality in their opponents?

UPDATE AT BOTTOM

I remain undecided

I have long theorized that a VERY large segment of the American people now have concluded both logically and emotionally that Wall Street Democrats, and Big Business, Corporate Republicans are ONE, and that this is why both Trump and Bernie are where they are.

This week Trump began to score heavily with a ground game against Cruz pointing out his calling on Goldman Sachs for money (FULL DISCLOSURE- Cruz’s wife had worked there), and Citibank

Last night as analysts were saying that Bernie mopped the floor with a Hillary who tried to bring out the Obama vote by trying to make police out as stereotypical gun toting racists, he did so with a withering …well…

“I don’t take money from big banks. I don’t get personal speaking fees from Goldman Sachs, - Secretary Clinton you’ve received over $600,000 in speaking fees from Goldman Sachs in one year,”
Now Cruz is hardly the darling of the Mitch McConnell/Rove crowd, but never the less the 5 day Reuters

Just below Rubio at 5.1% is the well known “WOULDN’T VOTE”. Everyone else is below that.

By the time we hit South Carolina vote count, what will we see?

If this thesis is correct, will we really see Trump vs Bernie?

It would have been a far more decisive contest for the nation if Trump was really a conservative as the nation would then have the clearest choice since 1860.

But as it is, it will mean something DIFFERENT will be experimented with in our national experiment in self governing.

Congress, Senate, take note. Steve Israel suddenly retiring, and Eric Cantor’s ignominious firing have meaning.

A general answer to some comments:

If the US public is concluding the 2 parties have no difference at heart, then that similarity runs thru where the $ is.

HUGE BIZ and BANKS, which are the backbone of the political class.

It is thru there that the big revolving door (big business/academia/govt) runs most frequently.

Hank Paulsen, Robert Reich, Geithner, Lew ..if you track these guys history it's a little freaky and it's BOTH PARTIES

Now you can say, well who is going to be treasury sec but experienced bankers? But there are plenty of businessmen who would be as good, and not ones who are in the political class either.

Jack Welch comes to mind right away.

Now Trump exists because of the FAILURE of R's to deal with border(terrorism class concern) and trade (economy class concern).

Bernie exists because of the failure of the D's as they have become totally progressive to GO SOCIALISM, which is why Bernie is where he is

Both both of those failures exist BECAUSE the political class's interests are NOT those of the bases of the parties. Thus none of the concerns of the voters to see their will done has been addressed.

Big biz BENEFITS (profits) from an open border and free trade

Dem votes BENEFIT from open border

Lawyers and big govt (Dem interests) BENEFIT from high corp taxes and convoluted tax codes (GE has an entire DIVISION devoted to that) which continue to REWARD outsourcing with more profit in Wall Street (D and R mainline party interests)

On and on.

Neither party has the interests of the middle class, entrepreneurs, independent minded people, or the poorer, or working class folks who heretofore could spend LUCRATIVE CAREERS making cars, steel, or electronic components and are now working at Dunkin, McD's or who knows what horrendous mind numbing, poor paying desperate situation.

The political class and the moneys that ensure the revolving doors among academia/big biz/ and banks simply have grown apart from the PEOPLE and have different needs than the people - to grow.

Thus the people are now divided as to the solution to this.

SOCIALISM
or NOT

This is why I wish Trump were more conservative altho he CLAIMS he has changed his mind about a lot of things.

I have a feeling unless things change, we are going to find out

If Redstate calls Trump voters..well… ‘Everything that’s wrong with that particular brand of rabid racist scumbag Trump supporters’  Then doesn’t THIS  make the relentless unthinking inquisitors of Cruz supporters all antisemitic,...

- In Which I Become The Devil’s Advocate, Maybe Bernie
I choose Bernie because he was born poor in Bklyn, and moved left and then to small town Vt. I was born in the Bronx, poor, and moved left (Vietnam), THEN RIGHT by 1980 (Regan, Ayn Rand), and moved to tinytown Maine. We’re both Jewish. It’s Labor...
