The infamous imam Ahmad Akkari - well known for his falsified Muhammed-pig-cartoons - was among the rescued 5.000 ‘danes’ from Libanon.
Akkari, who cost the danish Arla ca. US$ 100 million, even managed to get his wife and child to Denmark, although it is only he, who has citizenship (which he got on false premises). Immediatly after arriving in Denmark, he started to critisize the dansh rescue-effort.
The danish palestinian immigrant-group are among the immigrants with the lowest job-frequency, and this made politicians from The Danish Peoples Party suggest an investigation into whether those on holiday (for months) in Libanon were there on well-fare, when they should be in Denmark preparing for jobs. This off-course created an outcry from the PC’s and lefties. Danish media this summer have been writing about poor danes who cannot afford to go on holiday - so people are wondering, how this group of unemployed palestinians on wellfare can go to Libanon on holiday and stay there for prolonged periods of time.
Danish media have been very reluctant to show pictures of the ‘danes’ rescued, and it seems the term ‘dane’ in connection with the rescue is a very wide concept.
Danish authorities have made a psychiatric crisis management system for the whole country for the 5000 rescued. Danish health system - especially psychiatry - has a very big lack of doctors - which means, that patients have to wait for months for treatment.
