National Centre of the Performming Arts: CHINA
Americans, when the capital and then manufacturing follows the lowest labor cost (and is allowed to) the service, follows, the engineering follows that (which is why a Chinese Engineering company was selected to work the NY Subway last year) and finally R&D and the Arts. That means that any day now, you will see the ultimate societal luxury, medical research, become the next to go. At that point, American researchers will go where they have the best chance to engage in their passion.
It’s nice to see such beauty, Americans, ANYWHERE, but let’s not forget why it’s there and why unemployment is now intractable in the USA … Free trade as implemented has been disaster for the American Middle Class, and an EARTHQUAKE for those below that.
Free Trade MUST mean equal working conditions, and when it does not, the product difference must be made up as the product enters the USA.
Soon enough american workers will be making american wages at american factories, and new performing arts centers will follow.
INEVITABLY
MONEY IS AMORAL, LIKE RAIN, LIKE WEATHER, IT FOLLOWS THE PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE
LAW OF NATURE
That is why you find a growing number from left to right in America recognizing too late the reality and stirring now against it.
Anyone think we’d be having this debate over debt if manufacturing in the USA had continued on the path it was on in 1965, a year I had a WIDE CHOICE of summer jobs?
So I have a question.... why is the CIA,
who is supposed to be thinking long range,
not helping unionize workers
in the TARGET NATIONS?
Can there be a more MORAL action than this for the CIA?
