Obama: My Pastor Sounds Like A Jihadist

A brilliant observation from Robert Spencer at Jihad Watch:

Here is a paragraph from Obama's speech on Jeremiah Wright today (thanks to James):

But the remarks that have caused this recent firestorm weren’t simply
controversial.
They weren’t simply a religious leader’s effort to speak out
against perceived injustice. Instead, they expressed a profoundly distorted view
of this country
– a view that sees white racism as endemic, and that elevates
what is wrong with America above all that we know is right with America; a view

The origin of Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.'s, anti-Israel animus: Like Obama, I am a graduate of Harvard Law School. I too have Muslims in my family. I am black, and I was once a leftist Democrat. Since our backgrounds are somewhat similar, I perceive...

- Is He The One? - The Audacity Of Denial
From Powerline: The problem for Obama is that his books do not, in fact, support the conclusion that he is entirely out of sympathy with what we now know to be Jeremiah Wright's noxious views. To be sure, Obama has never suggested that the federal...

- Easter: Blasphemy In Action
I am not a particularly religious person, but I am deeply offended by this! The new rev. at Obama's church had the gall to compare the questioning of Rev. Wright's racist, anti-American, lying hateful sermons, to Jesus Christ and what He faced....

- Mark Steyn On Obama: Well, So Much For The "post-racial" Candidate
From the OC Register: "I'm sure," said Barack Obama in that sonorous baritone that makes his drive-thru order for a Big Mac, fries and strawberry shake sound profound, "many of you have heard remarks from your pastors, priests or rabbis with which...

- Jeremiah Wright's Theological Mentor
Barack Obama has called his Pastor, Jeremiah Wright, his "mentor." So, who is Pastor Wright's theological mentor? It seems clear that it is James Cone. Check this out (from Andrew Bostom's blog): As noted by Spengler in The Asia Times (3/18/08)...
