The Occupy movement has announced that it plans on occupying homeless shelters across the nation to prevent the homeless from gaining access. In this way they hope to force the Obama administration to put all the homeless on the government payroll. A scientific Rasmussen survey has concluded that up to 24% of the homeless will die of freezing and starvation during the planned siege but the Occupy leaders state that “This is reasonable collateral damage if it succeeds in ending homelessness. It’s time the government gave these people jobs and the Wall Street rich paid their wages.”
When asked what would be done with those homeless who prefer the lifestyle and don’t want jobs, Occupy leaders said that “They’ll be given job titles and salaries anyway as it isn’t really expected that the newly employed homeless will actually work. After all, they’ve been unemployed so long that making them work would be too traumatic and could cause them undue stress.”...
