Up here in Maine, 3 casinos were voting DOWN, BIG TIME and same day voter registration was KEPT… with a BIG VOTE. This is being portrayed as some kind of voter ID defeat, but it had NOTHING to do with that. You come in to register at town hall (population < 2000) and not only does everyone know everyone, but they know your taxes, boat license, fishing and hunting license… this was a vote for people who work a LOT to be able to come in, see the town clerk at the desk, register, then vote. PERIOD.
