Pat Condell: "Donald Trump is a reaction. He's filling a vacuum which shouldn't be there in the first place. And it wouldn't be there if America had a President worth the name... People want honesty. They're starved of it, and they'll take it where they can find it."
Pat Condell nails it, as usual.
Thing is, I will go one further:
The vacuum does not just exist in the space occupied by Barack Obama.
NONE OF THE CANDIDATES ARE TELLING THE TRUTH.
The GOP has not willingly fielded a single Presidential candidate serious enough to say what Condell says here.
I like Ted Cruz, but the GOP establishment does not seem to like Cruz much, and that makes me hate the GOP.
The GOP needs to disappear, like the Whigs before them.
The faster the better.
The fact that Trump has shown up with his bellicosity and truth-telling is a godsend. Hopefully he deals the GOP a hard enough blow to make it crumble into the dustbin of history.
Even if Cruz doesn't win, if Trump succeeds in that, he has done us all a favor.
