Ralph Peters thinks Obama only mentioned Iran's 2nd nuke plant because the runt was about to go public

DID it surprise a single reader that Iran's been hiding a big nu clear weapons development fa cility? It stunned our president when he learned about it months ago. Then he kept it secret from you.
Obama didn't want you to know how much progress Iran had made. It's an embarrassment.

And it raises the pressure on the White House to act -- something this president's squirming to avoid. But the Iranians have now realized we know, so they tipped it themselves.

Obama had no choice but to come clean.

Yesterday, he interrupted the G-20 summit to go public -- before Mahmoud Ahmadinejad did. Flanked by French President Nicolas Sarkozy and Britain's dead man walking, Prime Minister Gordon Brown, our president offered more uselessly vague rhetoric in response to proof of a major "covert Iranian enrichment facility" and its implications.

Obama's statement amounted to, Ooooh, I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house down . . . maybe . . . eventually . . . but not really . . . let's talk

HASSAN ABBASSI, Iran's Kissinger, Wolfowitz, Feith, Acheson, and Paul Nitze all rolled into one:

."We have a strategy drawn up for the destruction of Anglo-Saxon civilization," says Mr Abbassi."There are 29 sensitive sites in the U.S. and in the West.We have already spied on these sites and we know how we are going to attack them. Once we have defeated the Anglo-Saxons the rest will run for cover."

PART ONE OF A STRATEGIC LECTURE

After watching this... anyone think Iran can be talked out of or into anything? I see nothing to advantange the USA in having any discussions with Iran. I also see that we may NOT see it in the USA's advantage to attack them to prevent their getting nukes. It is logically arguable, even if I might disagree. But there is at least one other nation whose existence depends, they ALL FEEL, on preventing that from occurring. The USA should grant them the same rights of sovereignty of decision as they do, and have done with Iran, just STFU and get out of the way. If that is unacceptable, then it BECOMES INCUMBENT for the US to stop Iran to prevent that from happening.

Those are the two choices available to Obama. That's all there is. Of course, he will vote 'present'
