The inauguration of the world’s largest floating solar power plants in Japan (Okegawa city)
July 19th 2013, Ciel & Terre has celebrated in Japan the completion of its first floating solar power plants in Japan, with its local partner West Holdings and the representatives of Okegawa City. Located on a non-drinking water reservoir, the PV plants cover 1.22 ha for a capacity of 1.2 MWp.
Ciel & Terre is now concentrated on the development of new projects in Japan and Asia, since other organizations has shown an interest in the Hydrelio© technology. Several constructions are expected to be launched in Fall, and completed in 2014.
