All Rights Organizations have going for themselves is their credibility with the public. I simply do not believe the average black person believes the shit that the NAACP is spouting. There is no basis in reality to believe such a thing, and black people are not stupid.
Now, it is likely true that black people, as a group, would prefer to see Barack Obama do well.
HOWEVER,
no one wants to be taxed and regulated to death. No one wants to have 12%+ unemployment in their community. No one wants a President whose behavior demonstrates that his most clearly articulated values are hollow at their core.
But, the NAACP seems to be showing itself as an organization which will go down fighting for this man.
Don't be surprised if we see a seismic shift in the black community in the coming years. The ground that Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, the NAACP, etc. stand on is going to cave in underneath them, and they will be replaced by new leaders who better represent what it means to be Black in America today.

The NAACP Is Acting Like An Organization Which Is Out To Destroy Itself
