The Netherlands Standing With Israel
Minister of Foreign Affairs Ben Bot has reportedly told Israel that the Dutch government understands Israel's situation and reaction. He also said that it would be more difficult for The Netherlands to support Olmert if there are too many Lebanese civilian casualties. He - therefore - urged Israel too do her best to prevent such civilians casualties.
This is of course great news. I firmly believe that it is of the utmost importance that the West publicly supports Israel right now.
Meanwhile, the NOS showed its bias. Quote from the last part of this article.
Russian President Putin condemned the disproportionate Israeli reaction. He said that it is unacceptable for Hezbollah to kidnap Israeli soldiers, but that Israel's reaction to that isn't suiting. [goes on]
Shouldn't the NOS have reported: Russian President Putin condemned Israel's reaction
calling it disproportionate? It's 'little' things like this that color the reporting of the MSM about this matter here in Europe.
