The Troublesome Cult of Black Bigotry

Erik Rush is a visionary. I've interviewed him on my radio show several times. His book, "Annexing Mexico" will, in my opinion, be cited in the future as a seminal work on the changes that need to take place in order to save this nation. Erik does not simply demonize the massive immigration that is ruining our education and healthcare systems, and shattering our national cohesion and pride. Instead, Erik looks at the necessities which dictate the massive immigration, and proposes a solution, a way through to the future which will benefit all.

In his latest book, "Negrophilia: From Slave Block to Pedestal - America's Racial Obsession", Erik has turned his focus on the subject of race, specifically the black race, and it's standing in America. Erik, once again, sees far beyond the traditional dichotomies that define the national debate. And, this of course, will make him an enemy to all those who want to think simply and angrily.

Since ethnicity has played such a large factor in political matters of late, I would like to start there in this, my first post-midterm election column. The reader will find it germane to our moving forward with wisdom and prudence in the months ahead.

Every now and then, I have an experience that deeply drives home just how profoundly black Americans have been deluded, how thoroughly they have been conditioned by the political left and how immovably they are fixed to the racial orthodoxy that has been inculcated into their minds.

Late last week, I did a call-in interview hosted by two black commentators in a large urban market. Ostensibly, the subject was race relations since the ascent of President Obama; as is usually the case, my book, "Negrophilia: From Slave Block to Pedestal – America's Racial Obsession," was mentioned during my introduction.

Given the hosts' ethnicity, of course there was around a 91 percent probability they would be pro-Obama liberals. Since there are liberals with whom one can have civilized disagreement and those with whom one cannot, I didn't prejudge them. Unfortunately, these two belonged to the latter subgroup. The reason I am not disclosing the market, station, or hosts' names is not to shield them from scorn or ridicule; I simply do not want to reward bad behavior with publicity.

At one juncture, I was addressing the host's question of whether or not things have gotten better for blacks since the Civil Rights Movement. Among other examples, I pointed to black Americans who have become fabulously wealthy in a variety of vocations.

I'm still not sure why, but this is apparently where the co-host's reactor went critical. He had apparently been simmering for some time throughout the interview. Interrupting, he launched into a vitriolic tirade about injustices committed decades and centuries ago, ranting about the South, Klansmen, hangings and other sundry – but wholly irrelevant – atrocities.

Then, the personal attacks began. He was saying something along the lines of "You can jus' take yo' Nigra-philia and – !" when I took the phone away from my ear.

After that, there was no getting in a word edgewise. Each of my subsequent blasphemies against hallowed progressive racial doctrine gave rise to a new flurry of gnashing and inane mouthings. When he finally stopped jabbering, the host asked if I might answer a question. Since that was why I was on the phone in the first place, I answered in the affirmative. The host then began a protracted diatribe circumscribing how George W. Bush had spent eight years driving America down to where she is now, and now the right is up in arms because poor old Barack Obama couldn't turn it around in a scant 18 months.

Of course, we hadn't been discussing Bush to begin with, but that hardly mattered. In any case, I never got an actual question.

So you see, there are black Americans who are not only pro-Obama liberals, there are those willing to follow Obama to the gates of hell – convenient, because that's precisely where he's taking them – then blame Bush for the heat.

Why? Because he's black, and only because he's black.

That's a reason?

In their estimation, conservatives and Republicans are one in the same and are the cause of all strife among blacks. How so? They can't tell you. What should conservatives and Republicans be doing other than whatever it is they're doing? They can't tell you that, either. This co-host's meltdown illustrates key tenets of their dogma: Blacks must remain angry. The advancements that have been made since the Civil Rights Movement count for nothing. Whites can never, ever be trusted.

Of course, there's much more, but with such convictions in play, blacks and America will never be reconciled to each other, which is what their progressive overseers wish.

While the prospect of President Obama crashing and burning politically holds a certain allure, we must be aware that black Americans like those I have addressed here will never accept the notion that he did so as a result of his own policies. They will blame it on America's inability to accept this black man as president; were Obama to be caught wok-frying newborns in the White House kitchen, the pressure of governing a white racist nation would be cited as the cause.

The good news is that the advent of black conservatives and their increased participation in the political process is a great start toward neutralizing this cult of black bigotry; having more elected to office will further validate conservatism in the perception of blacks and bring us that much closer to the ultimate goal – neutralizing 100 years of progressive policies in America.

Concerning the radio show: To their credit, the host (the one who had managed to maintain his composure, but remains dangerously deluded nonetheless), called me afterward and apologized for the gross lapse in professionalism. I graciously accepted and acknowledged my part in the episode.

I did not, however, apologize for calling the co-host a rude idiot on the air.
