Tortonto Imam: "Just The Possession Of Amonium Nitrate Does Not Prove They've Done Anything Wrong"
No, they may have needed 3,000 pounds of Amonium Nitrate because they were starting a very large farm. Yeah, that's it:
MISSISSAUGA, Ontario (AP) - The Royal Canadian Mounted Police itself delivered three tons of potential bomb-making material to a group that authorities said wanted to launch a string of attacks inspired by al-Qaida, according to a news report Sunday. The Toronto Star said the sting unfolded when investigators delivered the ammonium nitrate to the group of Muslim Canadians, then moved in quickly on what officials called a homegrown terror ring. The newspaper said that investigators learned of the group's alleged plan to bomb targets around Ontario, then controlled the sale and transport of the fertilizer. Authorities refused to discuss the Star's story and have revealed few details of the purported plot, or how the sting developed.Police arrested 12 adults, ages 19 to 43, and five suspects younger than 18 Friday and Saturday on charges including plotting attacks with explosives on Canadian targets. The oldest, Qayyum Abdul Jamal, led prayers at a storefront mosque attended by some 40 to 50 families down the street from his home in a middle-class neighborhood of Mississauga, west of Toronto. Imam Qamrul Khanson said the language of Jamal's Friday night prayers had a more aggressive tone than other prayer leaders', but there was never any talk of terrorism or violence. Khanson said at least three of the suspects regularly prayed at the Al-Rahman Islamic Center for Islamic Education. "Here we always preach peace and moderation," Khanson said at the one-room mosque."I have faith that they have done a thorough investigation," Khanson said of authorities. "But just the possession of ammonium nitrate doesn't prove that they have done anything wrong."As stupid as the Imam's statement may sound, the slant of this Associated Press article shows the direction the Mainstream Media appears to be headed with this story, and they will eventually end up attempting to make the same point the Imam is making.
Think about it. Here, we are being told the Royal Canadian Mounted Police delivered the Amonium Nitrate to the wannabe terrorists, in a "sting" operation. In other words, the RCMP said, "You know, we can get 3,000 pounds of fertilizer for you. Do you want it?" And, the Muslim guys said, "Yes, please."
But, it was entrapment. Yes, that's right, etrapment.
You see, they didn't understand that Amonium Nitrate could be used as an explosive. And, even if they did, their purchase was purely theoretical in nature. In other words, they may have thought, possibly, they might want to blow up a building, or a stadium, but, they had not really decided to do so, when they made the purchase.
And, just the thought of blowing up a major structure full of people is not a crime in itself. No. It's a creative thought, protected by the Western right to Freedom of Conscience.
You know, Freedom of Conscience, don't you? You know, that right that we have been giving away en masse to Muslim who are so incredibly angry over cartoons.
You may think my analysis is silly, but watch in coming days as media people, lawyers, and politicians all make the very same point in more parsed language.
Open up and swallow the big lie, my friends.
