Apparently Mr. Cain reminds NPR of the White Citizens Councils because of his negative comments about the Wall Street Occupiers.As one born in 1952, I vaguely recall some details about the White Citizens Councils, active in Northern Virginia at that time — believe it or not, here in the bastion of liberalism and, yes, racial tolerance, today.
