Winds of War: Are We at War with the Religion of Islam?

From The Gathering Storm

The enemy we are fighting in this War of Democracy –aka: War on Terror – is being called many things. Radical Islam, militant Islamism, jihadism, Islamic fundamentalism, Islamo-fascism – all attempts to categorize and identify the enemy who has pledged to reinstall the Caliphate and bring the world under Sharia Law. The main attention of this war is out of necessity, placed on the violent attempts to realize the enemy’s agenda at the same time trying to exonerate a world religion and separate it from its violent adherents.

That is to say, we are not at war with the religion of Islam – or are we?

Every religion grows by proselytizing. In the 21st century, every religion save one, seeks to grow it’s adherents in a peaceful manner, un-intimidating manner. Not Islam.

Here is a very aggressive religion that has adherents who believe it should be advanced through warfare and those that believe it should be advanced by the process of invading and assimilating its hosts who seek to advance their agenda through the lawful means of intimidation, infiltration, and disinformation. In effect, Islam as a religion wages cultural jihad in the areas it spreads to as a way to impose its will on the host culture through intimidation, infiltration and disinformation. This aggressive strategy is aided by the appeasers and apologists who buy the line that Islam ‘just wants to get along’ with the non-Muslim societies it infiltrates.

To quote RedState:

“ Islam isn't some eastern version of the Amish; they're not demanding the right to be left alone to live as they wish, they're fighting for the "right" to force everyone else to live as they (the Moslems) wish. They don't accept the idea of "equivalence", they don't want acceptance, they don't want respect, they want dominance.”

And that’s my point. Here are some examples:

  • "Media is warned over its coverage of Islam" from Church of England Newspaper.
  • ISLAMIC leaders are trying to gag Prime Minister John Howard from speaking out against Muslims who refuse to integrate, threatening that any criticism of their culture could lead to another race riot.
  • The Herald Sun(AU) reports that the head of the Australian government's Islamic advisory committee has advised Australian PM Howard to back off -- or else.
  • A Muslim leader is setting up his own Islamic nation in Italy.
  • One of the best analyses of the European dhimmi problem was a recent article by Serge Trifkov. He shows how Europeans are being forced to accept and accommodate Islam, based on the disingenuous notion that Islam is superior to European culture.
  • Police swoop on Britain’s first ‘jihad training camp’
  • Islam Conquers Michigan Swimming Pools
  • German state to teach Islam in public schools
  • British Hospitals Introduce Muslim Gown
  • A third-grade teacher at Al Huda School in North College Park was sentenced to 15 years in prison Friday for his participation in the ‘‘Virginia Jihad Network.”
  • Muslim "youths" are taking control of areas of Oslo. A plainclothes police officer was forced to flee from an angry mob of Pakistani youths in Furuseth, immigrant dominated neighbourhood in Oslo.

Islam is like a virus infecting its non-Muslim hosts. Over at Gates of Vienna, Baron Bodissey has a truly brilliant post in which he describes Islam as an HIV-like virus, attacking Western civilization in the same manner in which a biological virus attacks cells in a host body, or computer viruses attack our computer networks.

We are at war with Islam and Muslims must understand that the non-Muslm societies have the right to defend their culture against the aggressive and not necessarily violent proselytizing of the religion of Islam.
