Winds of War: Democrats End Terrorist Disenfranchisement

From The Gathering Storm

OK. Shoot me but I couldn’t pass up this opinion column by Doug Powers. I usually don’t go into name calling in my blog but his piece really hits home. Here are the highlights. Enjoy.

Everybody knows that there are more Democrats than Republicans, so when a Democrat loses it can only be due to fraud — at least that’s the science behind disenfranchisement. Everybody knows that, so often, when a “disenfranchised voter” is referred to, this is usually either somebody who couldn’t find their own ass with two hands and a map, a mythical entity created in an attempt to steal an election, or a person who can’t stop playing XBox in their parents’ basement long enough to be enticed to go and vote for a Democrat.
Not only that, but, so giving are the Democrats, that they’ve helped put a temporary stop to the disenfranchisement of the entire world — at least the totalitarian and terrorist corners. Often when “hawkish” Republicans win, threats and anger fly from certain areas of the world. This time, terrorists, despots and tin pot wingnuts are as happy as Reverend Haggard backstage at a Cher concert.

The headlines say it all:

§ Ayatollah Khamenei calls elections a victory for Iran

§ Al Qaeda gloats over Rumsfeld resignation
