Saudi national dressed as pilot breaches airport security
From the Manila Bulletin:
The Manila International Airport Authority is reviewing its security procedures at the country’s premiere terminal following a security breach that happened last Monday when a young Saudi national was able to enter restricted areas of the airport just because he was wearing a pilot’s uniform.
Nineteen-year-old Hani Bokhari was confronted by airport authorities Monday afternoon after he was seen wandering at the arrival Immigration area. When Immigration officers asked for his airline identification card, the young man only presented them his airline ‘Dependent Card’ forcing them to call airport police.
Hani was questioned by members of the Airport Police Department who then learned that the young man was at the airport to meet his father who is arriving aboard a Saudia Airlines flight.
It was learned that Hani is a student of the Master’s Flying School in Pasay City who is studying to be a flight dispatcher.
