The Muslim Brotherhood waited fro 1923 to 2011 with the message articulated with clarity by Sayd Qutb.
WHile it is possible that they can answer the call Mansour defined, it will be a miracle if they can do so and still be the Muslim Brotherhood.
After all, if they cannot place god;s law above man’s in Egypt, what are they?
And that is the crux of the issue on the planet wherever these salafi, or shia zealots form the ascendant form of Islam.
Either the people are sovereign or they are not.
A year ago the Egyptian people voted for the Muslim Brotherhood and the salafis and therefore the sovereignty of God (and abandoning theirs) EN MASSE. Are they really saying that was a mistake?
We didn’t really mean to make these guys the arbiters of God’s sovereignty?
We’d like a road and jobs, and gas we can afford?
A minority which was certainly facing both repression and suppression (and worse) making allies across the spectrum as (properly, given what is going on) tourism ..the #1 industry in the moribund economy TANKS to nearly ZERO.
