Bundy, BLM, Executive power, Reid and when judgment reaches past fact
First, congratulations on the naked guts shown by the ranchers, and their supporters, and a well deserved THANK YOU for standing up for MY PERSONAL RIGHTS, by standing up for theirs.
Second, whoever in the executive branch woke the hell up to what was REALLY going on (hint..it wasn’t about tortoises or cattle, or fees) in a confrontation of executive power vs the citizens.. GOOD CALL.
Third, whoever was responsible for bringing in armed federal rangers from out of state (as China brought in troops from Xinjiang to Tian an Mien Square in 1989) so that local rangers would not MUTINY if ordered to shoot at their neighbors (or families), FUCK YOU and you should be fired. You are PRECISELY the wrong person to be in any authority (here that is)
Now that all that is out of the way we come to a story about, what some (Infowars and WND’s Jerome ‘swiftboat’ Corsi) have claimed to discover about the underlying reason for all this. That Harry Reid and the Chinese in some kind of ‘green’ agreement wanted all that land for a solar array, and that’s why the BLM contrived all it did to get the ranchers off the lands. This story became a viral wonder.
I have a hard time with it at this point. It’s just larger in scale, of course than the things Tammany and Boss Tweed used to do, and it smells like old style politics. We need someone like Sharyl Atkinson to dig on this one.The answers will not be in NV. Alex Jones and Jerome Corsi are not objective reporters, they are ideologues trying to find facts which fit their narrative. They can’t bring it on this one.
But if there are facts to find, it SHUUUUUUUUURE would be nice to get rid of any moron(s) involved, R OR D.
Last, if anyone was on twitter as this incident grew and grew and grew and was hooked into some of the feeds, you can see the kind of impact this had even though the MSM except for Fox (only at the end) ignored it completely. The twitters were mostly NOT republicans, mostly were libertarians, but there were progressives worried what some right wing executive might take in their head to do next time(surround the Center for American Progress with DHS IED proof vehicles, and shut off all cell towers, jamming all HF, because they thought another Snowden was in there, or some equally noxious but no longer paranoid fantasy?)
And that of course, is the real import of what was going on in Nevada no matter what the cause.
The federal govt was uncoiling itself in all its power, and was seen to be ready to exert it against plain old people who thought they were doing right (right or wrong) ..rendering all those former kooks, and paranoid delusional extremists with their tri cornered hats suddenly to be objective realists.
Which, of course is PRECISELY why the major networks would not put this on TV as it developed. People might get an idea.
