We all know that Dr. David Brat (Ph.D. in Economics and a Constitutionalist) defeated incumbent Eric Cantor in Tuesday's GOP primary here in Virginia.
Here is the man that Dave Brat will be running against in November, Jack Trammell, an associate professor of sociology specializing in disability issues:
“Jack Trammell has hundreds of stories, poems and articles to his credit, as well as two dozen book credits. He lives in central Virginia on a small farm with his family, and currently has a vampire novel in the works. He is an award winning author, teacher, researcher, and disability advocate.”Both Brat and Trammell are professors at Randolph-Macon College. Of all places! Most of my students won't even consider Randolph-Macon as an option for college. The college is not even on their lists! Just sayin'.
Most of Trammell’s tomes sound pretty boring and historical in nature. There’s Appalachian Dreams, Math in History and Down on the Chickahominy: The Life and Times of a Vanishing Virginia River.
