What is Green Products?

Green products are the biodegradable environmentally friendly products. During using these products, there is no hazard in the earth and environment when it is released to the air, water or earth. These types of products decompose in a landfill quickly than similar non biodegradable products. Biodegradable household cleaners, soaps, dishwasher detergents and laundry soaps are examples of this type of green product.

Types of Green Products

Product containing recycled goods in its construction, also considered green. Because, recycling reuses a material keeping it out of the landfill and  saves on the environment when alternative materials are not manufactured and used for that component.

If a product having reduced packaging in comparison to other similar products requiring less shipping room and can reduce carbon emissions during transport to market is also considered green.

How we will know that a product is 'Green'?

  • No CFCs, HCFCs or other ozone depleting substances in the product.
