The Criterion of Panic, and Resignation?- EJ Dionne

EJ Dionne from RCP:
The right wing has lost the election of 2012.
The evidence for this is overwhelming, yet it is the year’s best-kept secret. Mitt Romney would not be throwing virtually all of his past positions overboard if he thought the nation were ready to endorse the full-throated conservatism he embraced to win the Republican nomination. If conservatism were winning, does anyone doubt that Romney would be running as a conservative? Yet unlike Ronald Reagan and Barry Goldwater, Romney is offering an echo, not a choice. His strategy at the end is to try to sneak into the White House on a chorus of me-too’s.
The right is going along because its partisans know Romney has no other option. This, too, is an acknowledgement of defeat, a recognition that the grand ideological experiment heralded by the rise of the tea party has gained no traction
NEINER NIENER, you Tea Party racist losers have lost, too?
Mr. Dionne, the ONLY priority for anyone in the ‘right wing’ (which to you really is the center, I mean, come on you can’t see the difference anyway) is to GET RID OF THAT AMATEUR MORON IN THE WHITE HOUSE WHO ONLY SEES REAL ENEMIES WHEN THEY ARE REPUBLICANS
That’s it. Just as the Tea Party ceases to exist once you get past fiscal responsibility and adherence to the Constitution, so the only thing that counts in 2012 is the election of NOT OBAMA. That’s what happened in 2008. I know you don’t recognize it because it means there was never a mandate for change, but in 2008 what the Nation wanted was a NOT BUSH.
Now they want GROWTH and the growing recognition is that GROWTH=NOT OBAMA.
There is no other issue.
There never really was.
This has to be first.
Growth will bring fiscal responsibility. Romney will certainly adhere more to the founding document than Obama.
That sounds like a Tea Party definition of victory.

- Obama Seems To Have Lost The Debate Worse With Every Passing Day
I thought Obama's debate performance was bad. I thought Mitt Romney was good. And, I thought the clear winner was Romney. But, I did not think Obama's loss was that bad a beating. Sure, Romney was the winner (of the debate) in opinion polls by...

- Today Is Peggy Joseph Day
You all do remember …. ‘Obama’s going to pay for my gas and mortgage’. What Ms Joseph captured that day in 2008 is the PERCEPTION of fools that Obama not only actually cares about them past their vote, but that he will do something about their...

- Ladies And Gentleman, Your Republican Choices For President Of The United States
Paul Ryan?!?  Bad pick.  Romney just threw the election, just like John McCain.  Back in the early 80's, Devo made fun of this stereotype creating this image for themselves: The image has become only more and more of a mockable...
